Role Overview

The Marketing Specialist is an execution-focused role responsible for implementing the marketing calendar, supporting local store marketing initiatives, coordinating events, creating and editing content, managing influencers and PR relationships, and driving strong guest interaction. This position is highly hands-on, customer-facing, and ideal for someone creative, energetic, and passionate about food, storytelling, and hospitality.

The Marketing Specialist reports to the VP of Operations and Marketing and works closely with store teams, operations, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Calendar Execution

  • Execute the marketing calendar provided by the Marketing Manager.
  • Implement promotions, campaigns, LTOs, and community events.
  • Ensure stores receive all marketing assets and updates on time.
  • Follow up with stores to confirm proper execution.

Local Store Marketing & Events

  • Support local store marketing initiatives to drive traffic and community engagement.
  • Organize and execute store-level activations, sampling, outreach, and events.
  • Attend events, manage setup, capture content, and interact with customers.
  • Provide post-event reports with performance analysis and recommendations.

Content Creation & Social Media Support

  • Own day-to-day content creation for assigned brands.
  • Capture photo/video content in stores, at events, and during product launches.
  • Edit Reels, TikToks, and other short-form videos (CapCut knowledge is a major plus).
  • Work with agencies, freelancers, or production teams when required.
  • Maintain organized content libraries shared with the marketing team.

PR, Influencers & Partnerships

  • Own influencer outreach, vetting, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up.
  • Track influencer deliverables, performance, and ROI.
  • Support partnership and PR initiatives across brands.

Customer Interaction & Service Support

  • Interact directly with customers during events and on-site visits.
  • Call customers to gather feedback, understand experience gaps, and build relationships.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns and escalate when needed.
  • Monitor online reviews and sentiment; communicate trends to the Marketing Manager.

Delivery Platform Management

  • Manage and update delivery platform content including photos, offers, descriptions, tagging, and visibility.
  • Suggest offers, bundles, and promotions tailored to each platform to enhance sales.
  • Track performance of delivery promotions and prepare weekly insights.

Catering & Large Booking Coordination

  • Receive, process, and coordinate catering orders and large booking inquiries.
  • Work with stores and operations to ensure smooth execution of catering events.
  • Maintain a tracking sheet for catering leads, converted orders, and customer feedback.

Market Research & Trend Monitoring

  • Stay updated on food, social media, cultural, and digital trends.
  • Conduct competitive research and share insights with the team.
  • Propose creative ideas to keep brands relevant and on-trend.

Brand & Store Auditing

  • Conduct in-store audits to evaluate marketing materials, signage, visual standards, and overall guest experience.
  • Perform digital audits (website accuracy, delivery menus, social media, listings).
  • Suggest enhancements to improve brand consistency and store presentation.

Reporting & Internal Communication

  • Track expenses for campaigns, events, and marketing activities.
  • Provide weekly reports summarizing activities, results, and insights.
  • Attend weekly marketing and cross-functional meetings.
  • Prepare post-campaign and post-event reports.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in restaurants, hospitality, retail, or consumer brands.
  • Strong experience with short-form content creation (Reels/TikTok).
  • Proficiency with CapCut is a major plus; basic photo/video editing skills required.
  • Experience executing events, LSM, or community marketing.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers, gathering feedback, and making calls.
  • Organized and reliable with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel for store visits (40% field work).
  • A driver’s license and a car are a plus.
  • Ability to travel by air if required for events or store visits.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends for events or store needs.

Work Requirements

  • Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Field requirement: ~60% office / 40% in-store and on-site work
  • Note: This role may require occasional evenings, early mornings, or weekends based on business needs (store openings, events, campaigns, crisis management, promotions, audits, etc.)
